- I am the EOL Education and Outreach director and started this exciting post in November 2007.
Prior to joining EOL, I worked at Earthwatch Institute for 10 years as the Chief Scientist of the United States office. In that role I oversaw and lead the science, education and conversation departments and gained considerable international experience. Before Earthwatch, I was the Director of Science for the Massachusetts Bays Program, which is a United States National Estuary Program.
I have a doctorate in environmental sciences and have always been interested and dedicated to making science accessible for broad public purposes and to have people share in the joy of scientific discovery.
